Dragged Poetry
I question the impossibility of encountering a (natural?)rock that might contain letters, or poetry inside of itself. How high is the improbability of geological sediments to make readable letters inside of a solid? Consider that they found the cookie monster inside of a rock.
Two prototypes were made, with the same story. One was attached to the bike, and one was sanded down, layer by layer, to study the transitions of the solids’ section. Once gone the letters are too far dispersed as particles to be readable or reconstructable into letters. The entire story is read only by the object being used to its completion/finality.
A hard surfaced solid, with only occasional metaphorical softness inside. It is an experience and the rock performs once, or never, either containing or never again saying the same thing.
